Dawnwarden privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains what information the game Dawnwarden ("the game") uses, why, and the choices you have. The game is made by Marwan Souissi, publishing as Space Ninja Raptor ("we", "us"). If anything here is unclear, write to contacts@spaceninjaraptor.com.

In short: there are no accounts, and we do not collect your personal information ourselves. Your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google may collect some device information to show and measure those ads, as described below.

1. Information the game keeps on your device

The game saves your progress (your current game, unlocked regions, trophies, diamonds, your Wardlight towns) and your settings (volumes, graphics, controls) in files on your own device. These files are not sent to us. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your device settings, deletes them.

2. Information we collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, location or any other personal information, and the game does not use any analytics service of our own. The game does not ask for any device permissions beyond internet access, which is needed for ads.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Some ads are optional: you choose to watch them for an in-game reward. Others are short full-screen ads shown at natural breaks, no more than once every 30 levels and never less than 15 minutes apart.

To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information from your device, such as:

Google acts under its own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Your choices about ads

5. Purchases

If the game offers an optional purchase (for example, removing the full-screen ads), the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details; Google tells the game only whether the purchase was made.

6. Children

Dawnwarden is meant for players aged 13 and over, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your information. Apart from what Google collects for ads as described above, the game does not share information with anyone.

8. Keeping and deleting information

Game data stays on your device until you delete the game or its data. To delete information held by Google for ads, use the controls described in section 4 or Google's own tools. For anything else, email us and we will help.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. Because we do not hold personal information about players, most requests will be about the ads; we will point you to the right place or help however we can. Write to contacts@spaceninjaraptor.com.

10. Changes to this policy

If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy (for example, if an optional cloud save is added), we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches the game.
